What if you, or a loved one, were dying and have questions?
Now, what if you have someone to call?
Preparing for death consciously and compassionately can be the most healing and meaningful acts of a lifetime.
It invites us to hold close what matters most, gives voice to our wishes, lighten the burden on those we leave behind, and meet the end with dignity, peace, and serenity.
Hi, I’m Kair.
END OF LIFE PRACTITIONER, DEATH DOULA, CONSCIOUS DYING ADVOCATE, AND YOUR PARTNER IN THIS JOURNEY, SHOULD YOU NEED ONE
I used to be just like you, completely avoiding discussions about death, end of life wishes, or burial plans. I certainly wasn’t looking to spend my days with dying strangers. We’ve been conditioned to shy away, even when it’s our own loved one. It’s also about acknowledging the evitable out loud, isn’t it? Verbalizing it somehow makes it real. Everything changed for me in 2022 when I underwent several retina surgeries, and ironically, that experience shifted the way I see life, death, and my future.
Recognizing a clear calling to be of service in my community through end of life support work, I began working and volunteering with seniors and in hospice care to gain additional firsthand experience. I sought guidance from experienced practitioners and engaged in extensive independent study to deepen my understanding of death and dying. Committed to ongoing learning, my library grows daily. I completed formal training through Peaceful Presence’s Professional End of Life Doula program. Additionally, I became a member of the National End of Life Doula Alliance (NEDA) and earned the NEDA Proficiency Badge.
